Gluten-free, lactose-free and plant-based options are available upon request.
In addition to the Ayurvedic principles, the cuisine at Six Senses Vana follows the Eat With Six Senses philosophy: seasonal, local, organic and wholesome ingredients. At its core, this approach considers that food should always be as nutritious as it is delicious.
In particular, Eat With Six Senses promotes natural ingredients, with a cleaner and simpler approach to preparation, focusing on quality, balance and fresh whole food made from scratch. Produce doesn’t come much fresher than herbs and veggies grown in the very own organic gardens and mushroom huts of Six Senses Vana.
A great share of the produces are sourced locally, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Like each Six Senses resort, Vana is reinforcing its relationships with local farmers, producers and suppliers, who are committed to responsible sourcing, packaging and seasonality. The teams keep a close eye on what's in your food and where it comes from so you can reconnect with food safe in the knowledge it’s healthy for you and the world around you.
The chefs at Six Senses Vana indulge their love for hearty and healthy menus, while avoiding the bad stuff such as flavor enhancers and reducing the amount of lectins, lactose, gluten and sugar in your food. Glucose is out, vinegar is in!
