Program approach

Traditional Tibetan Medicine, or Sowa Rigpa, is delivered by Tibetan therapists and doctors from the North of India. Tibet’s traditional system of medicine finds its roots in Ayurveda, Chinese medicine and Buddhism. It is this amalgamation that makes it truly unique.

Sowa Rigpa’s emphasis on the mind and emotions, integrated seamlessly into the wellness journey, make Six Senses Vana one of the few to have embraced well-being in its entirety.

Soothe stress with immediate and long-lasting benefits

It encourages mindfulness by bringing you into the present moment.

It calms a monkey mind.

It settles anxiety.

It soothes stress with both immediate and long-lasting benefits.

It positively impacts sleep quality.

It connects you to a deep sense of self.

It brings together the body, mind and energy - the ultimate holistic experience.

Program inclusions

Treatments included

The Tibetan Medicine program at Six Senses Vana includes the following consultations, therapies and private sessions:
Tibetan Consultation and Wellness Screening
6 GOM Tibetan meditation
7 Tibetan treatments
2 Natural Healing Therapies / Tibetan Therapies

A follow-up consultation is done before departure from Six Senses Vana. After departure, Six Senses Vana also reconnects with each guest to assist them with their journey at home, the integration of the diet plan, and the pursuit of the healthy habits - one of the most challenging part once the participants of the Ayurveda program are back home in their day-to-day lives.

The inclusions described above are indicative: each guests' personalised journey is curated with an in-depth wellness consultation after their arrival at Six Senses Vana. The personalisation of the program is done with a thought process of therapeutic benefits versus individual preferences. A wellness expert keeps monitoring each guest's journey through mid-retreat consultations and makes necessary amendments as required and upon guest request.

Meals included and nutrition
