Meals included and nutrition

The nutrition for the Authentic Ayurveda program is based on the Ayurvedic doctor's recommendation, tailored to your dosha, but the base is gluten free, with refined sugar, and no grains and no dairies either.

Activities and sessions included

The Authentic Ayurveda program includes the following activities:
6x Sunrise Yoga stretching and Soorya Namaskar, sun salutations and yoga practice: enhance digestion, flexibility, and mental release (60 minutes)
6x Pranayama or sunset meditation sessions, deep breathing to help unlock and release toxins, emotions, and discomfort (30 minutes)
Self-guided crystal mountain exploration to ground, tone muscles and absorb negative ions.

Guests should bring clothes for active daytime, such as hiking shoes, yoga clothes, beachwear, swimwear, and casual daywear as well as casual resort wear for sunset and dinner. The nights at The Retreat Costa Rica can be chilly so light jackets, pashminas, and long sleeves are recommended. Rain jacket or poncho are also recommended for day trips.
